Travels - stories in perspective

When I traveled to Israel and Palestine for the first time in 2008, I knew next to nothing about population or conflict. Meeting up with both Israelis and Palestinians made a great impression on me, and it became important for me trying to understand both the people and their everyday life.

During this first journey I had no intention to let my experiences and reflections be the foundation of a novel. Nevertheless, that's what happened. The book 'Love your enemy?' (in Danish only) has taken me nine years to write and was released in the summer of 2017. You can read more about it here.

From the Atlas Mountains to the Sahara Desert by bike. That was the headline of a journey stretched over 11 days in the early spring 2018. I had just said yes to becoming the leader of the Danish YesTribe (under the organization Say Yes More), so I felt compelled to go on an active adventure ;) The short story 'Like kissing a man without mustache' is on the drawing board, and is expected to be released during the summer of 2019.

St. Louis, USA

In the fall of 2018, I traveled to the Midwest to start working together with an American editor. The idea was to translate and edit my novel 'Love Your Enemy?''. However, things changed as another story - in the form of a screenplay - suddenly and unsolicited showed up out of nowhere. The work title (so far) is 'Playing in the dark'. A final screenplay is within reach.
